CDL Dispatch / Transfer Driver (Full-Time)

Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Dispatch/Transfer Driver to join our team at Truck Centers, Inc. This role involves shuttling trucks between our Truck Centers locations or to customer terminals, with mostly same-day shuttle runs.

What We're Looking For

• A positive, can-do attitude
• A clean driving record
• A Class A or B CDL with an air brake endorsement and ability to drive manuals
• Strong time management skills

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brake endorsement and ability to meet insurance requirements; Class A CDL preferred
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission
• Proven knowledge of commercial vehicle equipment and operating systems
• Understanding of federal and state regulations regarding operating Class 6-8 trucks
• Resourceful, collaborative team player with the ability to also thrive independently
• Ability to lift or move up to 70 lbs. unassisted
• Must participate in a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen
