Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone during each job site.
• Adhere to the assigned delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely.
• Document every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with the camera‑phone system.
• Complete a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch, ensuring all delivery materials are firmly secured and the truck complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Work in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set the materials and unload them.
• Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner.
• Provide the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collect the full amount on COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials onto or off trucks or into the warehouse.
• This position does not require over‑the‑road travel.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A or B.
• Ability to lift 75‑100 pounds repeatedly (common cargo includes 70‑pound bundles of shingles).
• Pre‑employment drug screen and random drug screens are required.
• Flatbed and/or straight‑truck experience preferred.
• Semi tractor & trailer experience preferred.
• Trailer‑mounted forklift experience preferred.
• Crane certification preferred.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.

Pay

$24 – $28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
