CDL Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

The CDL Delivery Driver /Warehouse Associate will be responsible for delivering product to customers and jobsites, with duties including loading, unloading, securing, and transporting materials. This full-time, hourly position operates from 5 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday, though schedules may vary.

Responsibilities

• Load delivery truck safely according to company policy
• Communicate product loading instructions with warehouse associates
• Inspect truck and trailer for safety and compliance with DOT standards
• Immediately report any vehicle safety or maintenance issues to supervisor
• Communicate delivery dates and times to customers
• Drive to various customer locations within 150 miles of the branch
• Unload materials at customers' locations as per their instructions
• Stay compliant with DOT/FMCSA and OSHA regulations
• Operate forklift and use computer and RF scanner to manage inventory
• Avoid accidents and maintain a good driving record
• Assist in other warehouse operations as needed

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with current medical card
• Basic product and warehouse/delivery knowledge
• Attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively
• Safety training on material handling and forklift driving
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, or move items weighing up to 325 lbs.
• Prior computer knowledge and experience
