CDL Delivery Driver

We are currently seeking dependable CDL Class A and B Delivery Drivers to safely operate refrigerated commercial vehicles and deliver food products throughout the Tri-State area.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate assigned commercial vehicles in compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations
- Perform touch freight deliveries by delivering and unloading food products using a hand truck or manual pallet jack into designated customer storage areas
- Verify product accuracy and obtain customer signatures for delivery
- Collect payment from customers when required
- Communicate route, product, vehicle, or customer issues to dispatch
- Report accidents, traffic violations, roadside inspections, or safety concerns
- Maintain a professional and customer service-focused attitude while representing the company
Requirements
- 21+ years of age
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license required
- Ability to obtain or currently hold a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- Ability to regularly lift and move 50 pounds or more during deliveries
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability
- Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of the position
- Ability to communicate in English sufficiently to understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete required reports and records in accordance with Department of Transportation regulations
- Must pass background screening, including employment verification and criminal history, along with a drug screening
Qualifications
- One year of commercial driving experience within the last three years preferred
- Clean DOT driving record preferred
- Experience with local or multi stop delivery routes
- Experience of delivery in food distribution or similar delivery environments
- Customer service-oriented attitude
Physical Requirements
Drivers must be able to see and hear clearly, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and entering or exiting the vehicle. Drivers regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Drivers must be able to safely operate a commercial vehicle and access both the cab and rear cargo area of the truck.

Pay
Up to $100,000 per year, with a competitive $300 per day training pay period; prior to transitioning into incentive-based pay.
