CDL Class B Driver

About the role

ISC Structures is seeking an experienced Class B CDL Driver with at least 5 years of experience. The position requires passing a background check and a pre-employment drug test. Applicants must have a valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record and a DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• May plan routes to optimize time and equipment usage.
• Transport road construction materials between storage yards and job sites.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Keep accurate records and reports, including a daily log.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving skills.
• Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make independent judgments.
• Physical stamina to perform heavy manual tasks in various weather conditions.
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate emergency situations.
• Ability to handle customer interactions with courtesy and discretion.
• Read and understand directions and maps.

Pay

The hourly rate of pay is $28 to $34.

Schedule

Work involves frequent outdoor activities in various weather conditions.
