About the role
ISC Structures is seeking an experienced Class B CDL Driver with at least 5 years of experience. The position requires passing a background check and a pre-employment drug test. Applicants must have a valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record and a DOT Medical Card.
Responsibilities
- May plan routes to optimize time and equipment usage.
- Transport road construction materials between storage yards and job sites.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Keep accurate records and reports, including a daily log.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving skills.
- Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make independent judgments.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy manual tasks in various weather conditions.
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate emergency situations.
- Ability to handle customer interactions with courtesy and discretion.
- Read and understand directions and maps.
Pay
The hourly rate of pay is $28 to $34.
