Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is actively partnering with experienced CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Owner Operators in the Lima, Ohio market for our growing Propane & Butane Division. For more than 40 years, DHT has built a reputation for safety, reliability, and professional transportation. What You'll Do

  • Safely transport propane and butane (UN1075)
  • Operate throughout Ohio and surrounding regional service areas
  • Load product from regional terminals including:
    • Toledo, OH
    • Lima, OH
    • Monroe, OH
    • Sycamore, OH
    • Green Springs, OH
  • Deliver safely to customer locations throughout the regional service area
  • Safely load and unload tanker trailers using hoses and pumping equipment
  • Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain electronic logs (ELDs) and Hours of Service records
  • Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and DHT safety requirements
  • Maintain tanker equipment, valves, hoses, placards, and required PPE
  • Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch

Schedule

Regional operation serving the Lima, Ohio area and surrounding markets. Typical schedule: 5 days out / 2 days home. One weekend day availability required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Hazmat (H) endorsement required prior to hire
  • Tanker (N) endorsement required prior to hire
  • Drivers holding the combined X endorsement are encouraged to apply
  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
  • Safe driving record with no recent major safety violations or preventable accidents
  • Ability to safely work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including sub-freezing temperatures
  • Ability to safely handle hoses, valves, pumping equipment, and required PPE, including cold-weather protective gear and face shields
  • Commitment to professionalism, customer service, and safety

Truck & Equipment Requirements

  • DOT-compliant tractor
  • Tractor must pass DHT equipment inspection before sign-on
  • Electronic Logging Device (ELD) required
  • Hydrapak/wet kit required to power trailer hydraulic offloading equipment
  • Current registration and insurance
  • Ability to maintain DOT compliance standards at all times
