Responsibilities
- Provide support for crew members by controlling lowering ropes, limbs, and persons from aloft.
- Supply tools for tree workers.
- Control road and sidewalk traffic using warning devices and other methods.
- Cut, chip, and load brush and wood, ensuring proper job site cleanup.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Pesticide license, if required by state law.
- Herbicide license a plus.
- Line clearance certification if working near utility transmission lines.
- ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain.
