Primary Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle, complying with all federal, state, and local regulations while delivering product to Direct Store Delivery (DSD) locations within the assigned regional area.
- Execute daily assigned routes and deliveries efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of product to customers.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, reporting any maintenance or operational issues to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload product at delivery sites, ensuring accuracy in all deliveries and proper handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate logs and vehicle service records in Samsara in compliance with company policy and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with store personnel at delivery locations, demonstrating a commitment to customer service and KeHE's values of putting people first.
- Adhere to all company safety standards and follow established protocols for maintaining a safe driving record.
- Adapt to changing schedules, routes, and assignments in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
- Act as an ambassador for KeHE’s values by participating in community initiatives and contributing to a culture of respect, inclusivity, and service.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- 12 months of verifiable driving experience, or less than 12 months with a perfectly clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) (no tickets or accidents).
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading product.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with a commitment to representing KeHE's values of service to others.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly, with a sense of ownership and accountability for the role.

Full-time Pay Range: $1,600.00/Wk. - $1,800.00/Wk.
