Class A Driver

  • Maintain a valid Class A CDL license, DOT medical card, and adhere to all DOT regulations while driving a company class A vehicle.
  • Responsible for maintaining fuel levels of tractor(s) and trailers.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of all equipment to ensure safe and proper equipment operations.
  • Ensure proper signatures and processing of all company bills of lading, manifests, and any required documents.
  • Notify facility leadership of any repairs that need to be made to equipment.
  • Drop and hook trailers in a fast-paced environment while upholding safety standards.
  • Complete yard checks and assist leadership with on-site equipment management.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and HACCP support programs, inclusive of conformity to company, customer, and government standards.
  • Perform other duties as required or directed.

Warehouse

  • Perform operation and safety checks on equipment before use.
  • Familiarize self with productive capacity of machines or loading schedule of shipping services to assure prompt delivery of required items to proper destination, so that equipment does not shut down.
  • Remove empty skids and stack skids in designated areas.
  • Proceed safely to assigned area to pull, load, and move merchandise and all documents specific to each type of merchandise.
  • Complete cleaning duties at the end of designated shift.
  • Complete safety check on equipment prior to usage including but not limited to battery, brakes, lift controls, and computer.
  • Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts etc.
  • Follow all GMP & Food safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required or directed.
  • Must be able to meet production standards of quota required.
  • Must be familiar with warehouse and/or distribution facility.
  • Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of DOT regulations.
  • Team player.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of computer functions on a keyboard.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2 years over-the-road experience.
  • Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
  • Maintain a valid Class A CDL license and DOT medical card.
  • Maintain all DOT qualifications at all times.
