What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operate company-assigned Class A truck safely and responsibly
- Load and arrange freight for efficient delivery
- Adjust to local travel conditions (traffic, road closures, etc.)
- Answer customer questions with professionalism and courtesy
- Communicate any customer concerns or delivery issues to management
- Collaborate with dispatch to plan routes and track deliveries
- Maintain your assigned truck in clean and working condition
What You Bring:
- A Valid Class A CDL Drivers License
- A Minimum of 24 months of experience working in a full-time Class A Tractor/Trailer driving position in the previous 3 years
- No more than two (2) moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three years (3) years
- No serious traffic violations or convictions while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years
- No clearinghouse violations in the last 5 years
- Knowledge of all applicable DOT regulations and Motor Carrier Safety regulations
- Ability to satisfy FMCSA/DOT requirements including a clean drug and alcohol screen and a passing DOT physical
- A high level of reliability and commitment to the role
- Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate interactions professionally
- Must be able to read and speak the English Language sufficiently to converse with the general public and respond to official inquiries to drivers
- Must meet minimum age and insurability requirements (21 years of age or older) in accordance with company insurance policies and/or federal regulations governing commercial vehicle operation
