CDL Class A Driver

About the role

This is a team driving position due to the transportation of live product. This location has a combination of local and long-haul runs. Drivers may be out up to three nights per week on long hauls. Loading and unloading are required as part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Transporting day-old poults in a timely and safe manner.
• Serving customers on a national and international scale by providing quality poults, service, and innovation.
• Reporting to and being supervised by the On-Site Transportation Manager.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A.
• Experience as a commercial driver.
• At least 21 years old (cross-state line).
• Willing to work in teams.
• Most runs are NOT local.
• Okay starting work in the AM.
• Able to work weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL Driver responsibilities include but not limited to: transporting day-old poults.
• Expectation of consistent cleanliness, animal welfare standards and bio-security policies being upheld.
• Carrying out all directives in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws.
• All Company information will be handled with complete confidentiality.

Pay
