CDL Class A Driver

About the role

As a CDL Driver with Mauser Packaging Solutions Private Fleet, you are the final link in our customer service chain. Mauser Packaging Solutions is a global leader in solutions and services across the packaging lifecycle, providing packaging worldwide to companies in industries from food, personal care, paints, and chemicals. In this role, you will be servicing the Chicagoland and Grand Rapids area.

Responsibilities

• Drive within the Chicagoland and Grand Rapids areas
• Service customers with high standards of workmanship and efficiency
• Manage daily activities, including scheduling, routing, and managing tasks
• Ensure safety in all aspects of the job, including in facilities, vehicles, and routes
• Work flexible shifts to accommodate customer needs and schedules
• Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth and development

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable motor vehicle record
• At least 23 years old
• At least 1-year on the road experience
• Willingness to move freight up to 55 pounds
• Valid Medical card with at least 90 days until expiration
• No more than 1 DOT recordable accident in last 3 years
• No more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years
• No DUIs in last 5 years
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
• Hazardous Materials Endorsement on CDL is preferred but not required
• Maintains all required company paperwork
• Follows all State & Federal regulations per Department of Transportation standards
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English
• Must be able to comply with all established rules and policies (safety, production, etc.)
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work any shift and work time as needed
• Maintain an acceptable attendance record
