CDL Class A Driver

About the role

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the CDL Driver provides shuttle services between manufacturing and warehouse facilities in Bern, KS, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports products
• Communicates with the logistics team
• Adheres to delivery schedules
• Maintains accurate truck logs
• Maintains equipment records
• Ensures proper loading/unloading of trucks
• Operates truck and trailer equipment
• Adjusts weights for safety
• Reports needed repairs
• Capable of operating a forklift when necessary
• Follows all safety, GMP, HACCP, and SQF procedures to ensure food and product safety
• Provides exceptional customer service
• Reports hazards
• Assists other departments as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• A valid Class A CDL with a medical card
• A clean driving record
• At least one year of tractor/trailer driving experience (preferred)

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Willingness to work in a team environment

Pay

This full-time position offers pay starting at $24/hour, with regular attendance required.
