CDL Class A Driver

About the role

This full-time CDL Driver role involves providing shuttle services between a manufacturing facility in Bern, KS, and a warehouse in Lawrence, KS, ensuring safe and timely delivery of products in compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with logistics and facilities to coordinate deliveries and pickups based on production schedules.
• Operates trucks and equipment to load, unload, and disperse products while maintaining accurate logs and equipment records.
• Adheres to DOT, GMP, HACCP, and SQF procedures, ensuring safety, food safety, and product integrity.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment, reports repairs, and operates forklifts as needed.
• Provides exceptional customer service and assists other departments when required.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma/GED
• A valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
• At least 1 year of driving experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Willingness to work in a team
