CDL Class A Delivery Driver

About the role

This employment opportunity is a great fit for a motivated, hard-working person that likes to work independently with a lot of variety throughout the workday. This position is a 5-day schedule with shift start times between 2:00AM-5:00AM depending upon the route and driver preferences.

Responsibilities

• Local delivery routes departing and ending each day from your work location
• Most all delivery format is loading docks - very little liftgate work - NO RAMPS!
• 5-Day work week, with an extremely competitive salary to reflect work & shift
• Shift times begin early AM (Flexibility between 2:00AM-5:00AM)
• Owns their equipment and has their own fleet maintenance facility and staff on-site
• 3 ½ weeks of vacation time off in year #1, plus paid holidays and sick time
• $2,500 Sign-On Bonus paid after successful completion of six months of employment
• Drivers that operate safely will earn up to a $1000 safety bonus annually
• Operational Knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations
• Good communication skills and ability to interface positively with customers
• Delivery type job experience is a plus
• Able to lift up 50 lbs and safely climb in and out of vehicle cargo box or trailer
• Operate handheld/mobile computers to transact sales & delivery documents

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Existing or ability to obtain a DOT medical Card

Qualifications

• Operational Knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations
• Ability to perform safe pre/post trip inspections in accordance with DOT standards
• Ability to lift up 50 lbs and safely climb in and out of vehicle cargo box or trailer

Pay

$1,750.00 - $1,850.00 per week
