CDL Bus Driver

CDL Bus DriverTarget Start Date: September 8, 2026 Randolph School is seeking a mini-bus driver for our expanded shuttle service. The ideal candidate will have previous experience driving commercial vehicles, particularly with children as passengers. Shuttle operation hours will typically be 7-8 AM and 3:15-4:15 PM, with occasional opportunities for additional driving. We’re looking for someone who:· will safely transport children to and from school· is responsible, punctual, and friendly· is flexible and friendly, and develops quick rapport Primary Job Responsibilities:· Operate the school bus on designated routes, adhering strictly to all traffic laws, speed limits, and safety regulations· Enforce passenger safety rules · Conduct comprehensive pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections· Adhere to strict morning and afternoon time schedules for pickups and drop-offs Qualifications:· Class B Commercial Driver's License with a Passenger and School Bus Endorsement· Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and mandatory annual drug screening and motor vehicle report· Clean background check· Must be 26 years of age or older· Valid and current auto insurance· Strong communication skills, patience, and a calm demeanor when interacting with students, parents, and school staff· Previous experience driving commercial vehicles or working with children is highly preferred but not required Who we are:At Randolph School, PK-12 students become lifelong thinkers, creative problem solvers, and fearless leaders as they learn to embrace their full potential, prepare for a purposeful future and create epic possibilities for success.
