CDL B Truck Driver - Local Routes

About the role

As a CDL-certified Delivery Service Driver, you will operate an automatic straight truck (12,000–20,000 lb. GVW) on local delivery routes, delivering cooking oil to commercial kitchens while ensuring safe, accurate deliveries and excellent customer service.

• Safely connect to truck hoses to customer oil tanks to load/unload cooking oil
• Use company-issued iPhone apps for route tracking, invoicing, and compliance
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers to meet their needs
• Monitor tank levels to avoid oil outs and ensure seamless service
• Always uphold DOT, OSHA, and HACCP safety standards

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid CDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (climbing ladders, bending, twisting, etc.)
• Strong safety mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of CDL-regulated driving experience
• Bilingual
• Comfortable using hand tools and performing basic troubleshooting

Driving Record Expectations

Safety is at the heart of everything we do. We hold our CDL Drivers to the highest safety standards:

• Safe Driving Record (Past 36 Months): Limited MVR moving violations or PSP report violations
• Zero Tolerance (Past 5 Years): No speeding over 100 mph
• Drug & Alcohol Compliance: This position requires passing a DOT-mandated pre-employment drug test; marijuana (THC) will disqualify applicants. Subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing after hire.

Pay

$30.00 per hour + shift differential + overtime + quarterly bonus up to $5,200/year. Opportunities to increase base pay with weekend shifts, tenure, and level-up development programs.

Schedule

• 4 - 10 hour shifts, Wednesday - Saturday
• Start Time: 3:00 AM EST
• 1 overnight per week with possible hotel stay (Wednesday into Thursday)
• Local routes with no freight to move
