CDL B Route Delivery Driver

About the role

This delivery role involves safely operating a 26-foot straight truck to deliver and unload a variety of dairy products to customers. The position requires flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, with varying early morning start times, to ensure customer needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company straight truck along an assigned delivery routes throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut
• Deliver from 20 to 25 stops on a route
• Deliver products according to assigned route schedules and delivery time windows
• Unload merchandise using hand trucks
• Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations and company safety procedures
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs during deliveries
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move products weighing approximately 60–80 pounds

Requirements

• CDL Class A or B required
• 6+ months of experience
