CDL B Local Route Driver w/ Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements

About the role

As a CDL B Local Route Driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, you will deliver bulk cryogenic products throughout Iowa. While CO₂ or specialty gas experience is a plus, it is not required. All trucks are CDL B rated, day-cab, and utilize slip seats.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class B commercial vehicles with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Deliver bulk cryogenic products to customers across Iowa
• Maintain safe driving practices and adhere to DOT regulations
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Manage delivery documentation and customer interactions

Requirements

• At least 22 years old
• Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (no exceptions)
• At least 1 year of Class A or B driving experience within the last 4 years
• No preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• No more than 2 minor tickets in the last 3 years
• No serious violation tickets (e.g., speeding 15+ mph over, reckless driving) in the last 3 years
• No CDL suspensions in the last 3 years (except for "Failure to pay child support")
• No DUI in the last 7 years
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Weekend availability required for business needs

Pay

$27.00 per hour, plus an annual Safety Bonus of up to $2,000.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, with shift starting at approximately 8:00 AM
• Overtime available
