Local, direct-hire opportunity in Allentown, PA for a CDL B Driver with automatic-transmission trucks.
About the role
- 7-day operation; driver will work 4–5 days per week
- Local routes transporting refrigerated and non-refrigerated beverages and food items
- Touch freight: unload with pallet jack, dolly, and some by hand
Responsibilities
- Safely operate class B vehicles on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including unloading with pallet jack, dolly, and some by hand
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
Requirements
- Valid CDL B license
- 1–2 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Pay
$29.38 per hour
