About the Role
We are seeking a CDL B Driver for a local, temp-to-hire position in Candler, North Carolina. The role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently within the local area using a straight truck with a flatbed, hauling waterworks materials such as piping and construction tools. The driver will assist with loading using a forklift, while the customer handles unloading.
Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently within the local area
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Complete all necessary paperwork and logs accurately
- Assist with loading using a forklift; strapping required
Requirements
- 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Valid CDL B License
