CDL B Delivery Driver - $1,500 Sign-On Bonus!

Location: Everett, MA · Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt · Reports to: Delivery Manager

About the role

Class B Drivers are responsible for safely operating straight trucks and box trucks—all equipped with automatic transmissions. Each route is supported by a Delivery Helper to assist with unloading. This position plays a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and professional delivery service while upholding product quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
• Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts
• Rotate stock and place products appropriately in dry and refrigerated storage areas
• Ensure all pallets loaded onto the truck are secure and stable for transport
• Collect empty containers and returns as required by the supplier
• Load and return dunnage, pallets, and load bars to the supplier
• Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude toward customers and team members
• Complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) to report any maintenance or repair needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 21 years of age (legal requirement to transport alcohol)
• Active CDL Class B License in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating CDL B trucks
• Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe driving practices
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Availability to work Monday through Friday starting at 5:45 AM; end times may vary between 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM depending on route and delivery volume

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, often in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold
• Must be able to stoop, bend, lift, and twist regularly
• Must be able to lift approximately 55 lbs (e.g., two cases of beer)
• Must be able to operate a two-handed hand truck on inclines and stairs
• Requires frequent walking up and down stairs and inclines
• Must have sufficient vision and hearing to perform job duties safely and effectively

Pay

$28.00 – $36.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 5:15 AM – 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (depending on route and daily workload)

Benefits

$1,500.00 Sign-On Bonus paid in installments: $750.00 at day 90, $750.00 at day 180
