CDL B Dedicated Route Driver

About the role

Operate a box truck to move freight, including touch freight with and without a pallet jack. The job is based in a warehouse/vehicle environment with moderate to loud noise and potential safety/health hazards. Work may extend beyond the standard office hours (8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday) and occasionally require weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a box truck for local deliveries.
• Load, unload, and handle touch freight with or without a pallet jack.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and team members as needed.
• Complete paperwork and maintain accurate logs.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum 3 years of commercial truck driving experience.
• Excellent driving record.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a 26‑foot commercial vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
• Ability to lift and handle packages of various sizes and weights.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Maintain a verifiable Commercial Class B Driver’s License, demonstrate a safe driving record, and remain insurable through the company’s liability insurance carrier.

Pay

$1,300 – $1,500 weekly average (based on an expected 50‑hour workweek). Base hourly pay of $26, with overtime paid for hours over 50.
