Responsibilities
- Maintain and document vehicle defects in the DVCR booklet.
- Communicate maintenance needs to D&S Team Leaders.
- Record odometer, hub readings, and engine hours from equipment and send to lease company weekly.
- Ensure trailers are at adequate temperature and trailers are available for unloading and loading.
- Unload and assist with loading trailers as needed.
- Reposition tractor/trailers on the yard to and from docks.
- Comply with Domino’s Chock, Safety Cone, and Dock Signal Light policy.
- Shuttle tractor/trailers to and from logistic suppliers.
- Absorb and assist Drivers on designated routes.
- Listen to and assist management and Drivers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years old.
- Six months of verifiable CMV driving experience, one year preferred.
- Proof of 25,000 verifiable miles of CMV driving experience preferred.
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License [CDL] with Air Brakes.
- Maintain a DOT Medical Card.
- Meet MVR standards to remain qualified to drive company commercial motor vehicles.
- Pass a background check every three years on anniversary date.
- Available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as short notice on occasion.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
- Climb stairs.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally.
- Perform heavy pushing/pulling of product.
- Work in refrigerated conditions [33-38 degrees].
- Work in outdoor weather [rain, sleet, heat, snow, etc.].
- Work in an environment with exposure to loud machinery.
Pay
Hourly Rate: $26.00/hour; bi-weekly.
Schedule
Option 1: Sunday and Monday 8am to 6:30pm. Thursday and Friday 11am to 9:30pm or until completion of loading. OT Mandatory as needed.
Option 2: Sunday - Wednesday 12pm to 10:30pm or until completion of loading. OT Mandatory as needed.
