About the Role
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in York, PA. This is a temp to hire position.
Schedule & Pay
- Schedule: Monday - Friday; 200 AM - 400 AM start time
- Pay: $28.00 Per Hour
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: Retail Freight
- Equipment: Automatic trucks
- Handling: Touch Freight - unload with pallet jack
Minimum Requirements
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1 year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Responsibilities
- Safely operate class A vehicles on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including unloading with pallet jack
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
