Responsibilities
- Operate dedicated routes using sleeper trucks equipped with amenities such as microwaves and refrigerators.
- Drive 4,000-5,200 miles weekly on no-touch, in-house freight systems.
- Maintain schedules that typically include 4-5 days on the road followed by 2-3 days at home.
- Utilize extensive fueling stations to minimize delays and ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to safety and compliance standards, including possessing necessary endorsements.
- Drive assigned routes efficiently and safely.
- Manage scheduled stops, adhere to routes, and ensure cargo safety.
- Maintain truck condition and report issues promptly.
- Follow company policies and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 3 months of experience.
- Must be part of an existing driver team, with both members applying together.
- At least 21 years old, with valid DOT Medical Certification or passing a company-paid physical.
- Endorsements in hazardous materials, tank vehicles, and doubles/triples preferred (not required but advantageous).
- Ability to communicate effectively and operate within a team environment.
Schedule
4-5 days on the road followed by 2-3 days at home.
