Job Summary

Knight Transportation is seeking experienced CDL A truck drivers for a regional route out of their Charlotte terminal. Drivers will operate east of the Mississippi River, covering 2,500+ average miles per week, and return home every 7-10 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks on regional routes east of the Mississippi River
• Drive an average of 2,500+ miles per week
• Return home every 7-10 days
• Operate under 24/7 roadside support
• Drive late-model equipment
• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)
• 6 months of Class A experience within the last year or 1 year of Class A experience within the last 5 years
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years, no major accident within 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• No DUI within 5 years or 10 years if CDL holder at time of DUI
• Pass a DOT physical and drug test

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug tests
• Must comply with all safety regulations and company policies

• Strong driving skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
