CDL-A Truck Driver | Refrigerated OTR | Indianapolis, IN

About the role

Knight Transportation is seeking experienced and new truck drivers for their refrigerated team based in Indianapolis, IN and the surrounding areas. Various CDL A Over The Road routes are available, and the recruiting team will assist in finding the best route for individual goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive various CDL A Over The Road routes
• Maintain safe driving practices
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies
• Deliver goods on time and in good condition
• Operate late model equipment
• Follow rider and pet policy

Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years, no major accident within 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• No DUI within 5 years or 10 years if CDL holder at time of DUI
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Pass a DOT physical and drug test

Qualifications

• Experience operating refrigerated trucks
• Strong safety record
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Experience with refrigerated truck operations
• Strong safety awareness
