About the role
Begin a career as a flatbed driver with comprehensive training and competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training program with classroom, load securement, and equipment familiarization sessions
- Complete four weeks of on-the-road training with an experienced driver trainer, focusing on hands-on skills such as driving, backing, and DOT inspections
- Learn to securely load and tarp various cargo, including steel and lumber
- Adhere to safety and operational standards throughout training and beyond
- Build skills to succeed independently on the road
- Maintain safety and compliance standards
- Receive ongoing support from a local trainer and team
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Little or no prior driving experience required
- No recent DOT-reportable accidents or DUIs
- Ability to meet background and work history requirements
