Responsibilities
- Participating in classroom and hands-on load securement training
- Gaining equipment familiarity, driving, backing skills, and thorough DOT pre-trip inspections
- Completing four weeks of OTR training with an experienced driver trainer to develop essential flatbed driving skills
- Learning to manage load securement and equipment operation confidently
- Driving predominantly with a trainer who resides nearby, ensuring regular home time during training
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Little or no prior driving experience
- No recent DOT-reportable accidents or DUIs
- Last five years of work history
