About the role

As a City P&D Driver at R+L Carriers' Grand Rapids, MI Service Center, you will be responsible for city delivery and pickup of freight, returning to the terminal daily. This involves making multiple stops per working day, using scanning equipment, interacting with customers, and performing potential liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack.

Requirements

• CDL Class A license with 1 year combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record/MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years
• Age 23, 21 if successfully meeting FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable
• Preferred drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experience with LTL and Haz-mat local delivery
• Experience with electric pallet jack

$36.67 per hour
