About the role

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for CDL A City P&D Drivers at the Rock Hill, SC Service Center. Drivers are home every day and earn one week of vacation after 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• City delivery and pickup of freight, returning to the terminal daily
• Multiple stops per working day
• Operating scanning equipment
• Working directly with customers
• Completing potential liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 year of combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA specs for military-to-civilian transition)
• Ability to operate equipment safely at all times
• Ability to pass pre‑employment DOT physical and drug screen
• Ability to complete a successful road test
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
• Dependability

Qualifications

• Preferred Haz‑mat endorsement
• Local delivery experience
• LTL experience
• Experience with electric pallet jack

Starting at $30.66 per hour
