About the role
TBC’s trucking team enjoys a generous compensation package, overtime, sleep time pay, newer trucks (2017 and newer), performance bonus and weekly pay. This role will also maintain a regular route and reoccurring customers.
Responsibilities
- Operates dump truck to transport and deliver bulk materials such as stone, sand, soil, or product loads to customer sites.
- Safely loads and unloads materials, including proper use of dump mechanisms in accordance with company procedures and DOT regulations.
- Obtains and maintains accurate delivery authorization and pickup documentation. Verifies shipment documents such as load tickets, bills of lading and work orders.
- Completes daily DOT pre-trip inspections and required logs. Submits and verifies accuracy of all documentation.
- Maintains and submits all trip-related receipts and expenses.
- No tarping required!
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), Class A required
- 2+ years of commercial truck driving experience
- Experience driving dump trucks or similar equipment preferred
- Knowledge of applicable DOT rules and safe driving regulations
