CDL A TRUCK DRIVER
About The Role
The Truck Driver is responsible for hauling product to and from job sites and supporting on-site operations, including hooking up, unloading, and assisting with product placement or erection on the structure. This role also assists with the assembly and disassembly of cranes for relocation between job sites.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport product to and from job sites in accordance with DOT regulations and company procedures
- Avoidance of accidents and incidents by following company safety policies and procedures
- Ensure all required transportation documentation is accurate, complete, and in hand prior to departure and delivery
- Avoidance of accidents and incidents by following company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with on-site unloading, hookup, and placement or erection of materials as needed
- Support crane setup and teardown activities between job sites
- Perform routine inspections of vehicle and equipment to ensure safe operating condition
- Communicate effectively with field crews to coordinate deliveries and jobsite activities

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL License
- Be able to pass a DOT physical authorizing operation of a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV)
- Be subject to DOT random drug testing policy
- Knowledgeable in DOT load securement regulations
- Understand DOT Hours of Service regulations and maintain a driver logbook for hours of service
- Knowledgeable in rigging and sling/belt capacities

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use
- Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently
- Ability to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazards
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (Depending on location)
- Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area
