About the role
TransAm Trucking is now hiring company CDL-A truck drivers for long-haul career opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Drive company-owned trucks on long-haul routes
- Load and unload cargo according to safety guidelines
- Maintain vehicle condition and perform routine maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- At least 2 years of driving experience
- Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Pass pre-employment drug test
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different environments
Skills
- Knowledge of commercial driving laws and regulations
- Experience with GPS navigation systems
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery
