CDL A Truck Driver

About the role
TBC’s trucking team enjoys a generous compensation package, overtime, newer trucks (2020 and newer), performance bonus, and weekly pay. This role maintains a regular route and recurring customers.
- Average $89,500 annually (hourly pay + overtime)
- Monday–Friday, home daily
- Average 50–60 hours per week (overtime after 40 hours worked)
Based out of our Pen Argyl, PA facility, the ideal candidate will be experienced with securing and transporting flatbed deliveries regionally while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Use of Moffett for on-site deliveries
- Safely secure, load, and transport deliveries in accordance with company procedures and DOT regulations
- Obtain and maintain proper delivery authorization and pickup documentation
- Verify shipment documents, including bill of lading and work orders
- Complete daily DOT pre-trip inspection and logbook; submit and verify accuracy of information
- Facilitate annual contractor show by transporting displays, setting up, and breaking down the company display booth
- Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of vehicle
- Report issues, accidents, and damage to leadership team
- Maintain and submit trip-related receipts and expenses
No tarping required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Class A CDL
- 6+ months of commercial truck driving experience
- Manual transmission experience (10-speed preferred)
- Knowledge of applicable driving rules and regulations
Skills
- Adaptable; able to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather, etc.)
- Strong time-management and enthusiasm for on-time delivery
- Organized and detail-oriented; keeps accurate records of documents, gas cards, receipts, etc.
