Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Safe driving record / clear MVR
• At least 21 years of age or older
• Able to operate an 18-wheel tractor/trailer to deliver and pick up products from stores
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a 53ft. tractor/trailer
• Willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Safely transport goods from one location to another
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle
• Plan routes to meet delivery schedules
• Utilize knowledge of safe and effective loading/unloading and proper operation of equipment (tractor/trailer/yard truck/straight truck)
• Review paperwork for completeness and accuracy
• Check orders for the correct number of cases
• Deliver and unload products using equipment such as ramps, pallet jacks, load bars, and other devices
• Operate vehicle safely while maintaining DOT compliance and following all local, state, and Federal requirements
• Ensure on-time delivery while communicating professionally with customers and vendors
• Report any issues or incidents to the dispatch team
• Maintain a clean and organized truck

Pay

The hourly rate for this role is competitive and varies based on location, experience, qualifications, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement. The rate will be no less than the local minimum wage.
