CDL A Truck Driver

About the Role

Local deliveries throughout the St. Louis area with home almost daily. One overnight hotel stay per week for deliveries to Indiana and back to St. Louis. Ideal opportunity for a Class A Driver seeking consistent routes and excellent home time.

Equipment

• Late-model tractor with automatic transmission
• 45' trailer equipped with a rear-mounted Donkey Forklift
• Well-maintained equipment designed to support a professional Class A Driver

Responsibilities

• Deliver pet food products to stores and distribution centers
• Complete 8-10 stops per day
• Hand unload product using an electric pallet jack
• Secure freight by properly strapping loads
• Safely operate the Donkey Forklift when required
• Represent the company with professionalism
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards

Requirements

• Paid, week-long training provided for Donkey Forklift and electric pallet jack operation
• Steel-toe boots required
• Valid Class A CDL
• Previous experience as a Class A Driver is preferred but not required
• Strong safety record and commitment to customer service
• Reliable and motivated with excellent time management skills
