CDL A Truck Driver

Compensation

Competitive hourly wages starting at $30.00‑$38.00 per hour with opportunity for tips and overtime, plus a $10,000 sign‑on bonus. Total Class A earnings can range between $70,000 and $120,000 per year, including wages, tips, referral incentives, and bonuses.

Schedule

• Early a.m. dispatch hours with flexible work scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Transport shipments to and between warehouses, residences, commercial job sites, and military bases.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure vehicle travel worthiness.
• Assist in vehicle preparation, ensuring all materials are properly loaded.
• Maintain accurate logs and ELD entries.
• Lift, pack, load, and unload vehicles safely as required.
• Write complete and accurate inventories of household contents, office goods, or furniture when needed.
• Calculate weights, measurements, volumes, and distances as part of job duties.
• Provide guidance and organization to crew in line with the “Olympia Way.”
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the team.

Requirements

• Valid Class A driver’s license.
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience; moving‑industry experience is a plus.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, pack, load, and unload vehicles.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Mathematical skills for weight, measurement, volume, and distance calculations.
• Successful background check and positive driving record.
• Current DOT medical card and related requirements.
