CDL-A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles with a CDL-A license, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of equipment, & materials to/from job sites.

Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials at various job sites; regularly lift and carry items weighing 40+ pounds.

Collaborate with utility construction crews to ensure smooth operations and on-site support.

Participate in job site clean-up and assist in any other activities required on the job.

Maintain safe driving practices and comply with all applicable regulations, laws and safety standards.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.

Assist with minor maintenance and repairs on equipment when necessary.

Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle malfunctions immediately to management.

Can adapt to different job site conditions and tasks daily.

Requirements and Qualifications

Valid CDL-A license with air brake certification and no restrictions.

Previous experience as a CDL-A driver, preferably in a construction or utility-related field.

Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle, including loading/unloading equipment.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to assist with basic equipment maintenance and repairs.

Demonstrates a strong understanding of general workplace safety protocols and consistently prioritizes safety while operating on the road and at job sites.

Ability to work well with others and provide support to utility construction crews and other team members.

Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks each day.

Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying equipment as needed.

Strong communication skills and a reliable work ethic.

Shift Details

Shift: 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
