CDL A Team Truck Drivers

As a CDL A Team Truck Driver based at the South Windsor, CT Service Center, you will operate as part of a team, be home weekly, and earn one week of vacation after 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Pull van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers between service centers and/or turn‑point locations.

Requirements

• CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record/MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total in the past 3 years.
• Age 23 (or 21 if the applicant has successfully met FMCSA specifications to transition from military to civilian CDL).
• Ability to operate equipment safely at all times.
• Must pass a pre‑employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Must complete a successful road test.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable.

Skills

• Preferred: Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz‑mat CDL endorsements.
• Experience hauling Haz‑mat.
• Experience pulling doubles.
• Any LTL freight experience.
