CDL A Tanker Driver - Up to $5k Biweekly

About the role

TransForce is seeking a regional CDL A Tanker driver to support local operations based in Oregon, OH. This role involves hauling catalyst chemicals in a tanker to various facilities, including some government locations.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 4 am start time
• Some home time throughout the week, home on weekends
• Some overnights required (Monday–Friday)

Duties

• Regional driving with a 250-500 mile radius
• Haul catalyst chemicals in a tanker to different facilities, including some government sites
• Unload tanker using air compressed hose or pump
• Safely operate equipment
• Complete all paperwork, reports, and other documentation
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Equipment

• Tractor with tanker
• Trucks are all 2023 and up automatics with refrigerators
• No pets or rider policies

Pay

• $0.70 per mile
• $31 per hour for on-duty not driving time
• $30 per diem on nights out
• Biweekly pay range: $4,000 – $5,000

Requirements

• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable tanker experience
• TWIC Card
• X Endorsement
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check
