CDL-A SMALL EQUIPMENT DELIVERY DRIVER
About the role
Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is seeking a Delivery Driver with verifiable CDL-A driving experience to join our team. The role involves operating a smaller delivery truck and having the capability to drive larger trucks as a backup driver. We specialize in industrial and construction equipment and have been in operation since 1956.
Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and unload various small rental equipment from branches, customer sites, and event locations.
- Ensure safety and compliance during pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, adhering to DOT regulations.
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members, sharing relevant information and reporting any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid CDL-Class A driver's license
- Two years of verifiable driving experience
- Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card
- Safe driving record
- Knowledge of Motor Carrier Safety Regulations/DOT Guidelines
- Ability to secure loads safely and securely
- High school education or equivalent
Skills
- Experience operating various construction and/or material-handling equipment
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Occasional lifting up to 100 lbs., frequent lifting up to 50 lbs., and pushing/pulling up to 128 lbs.
- Physical labor: Lifting, pulling, cable assistance, event setup and teardown, and other projects
