CDL-A Route Driver - $30 Per Hour

About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Route Driver for a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Edison, NJ. The driver will haul eggs to grocery stores or distribution centers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $30 per hour
• Schedule: Monday to Saturday (5 work days per week)
• Dispatch times: 12 AM – 3 AM
• 9 – 12 hours per day

Job Details

• Route Type: Local
• Freight: Eggs
• Equipment: Tractors with manual (10-speed) or automatic transmissions
• Handling: Unloading of product using pallet jacks or rolling racks
• Approximately 8 stops per day

Responsibilities

• Haul preloaded trailers with palletized products to designated locations
• Complete invoices upon delivery and utilize E-Logs for paperwork
• Use RF scanners for inventory on select accounts
• Maintain a clean motor vehicle record

Requirements

• 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• CDL A license with reefer experience
