CDL A Route Delivery Driver - Erie, PA
Curtze Food Service in Erie, PA is seeking a full-time CDL A Route Delivery Driver to deliver large food and supply orders to restaurants and kitchens throughout the week. Drivers enjoy a first-shift schedule with the convenience of returning home nightly.
About the role
A Class A Delivery Driver starts work in the early morning by receiving a route for the day, delivering to 10–30 locations per route. The driver uses a hand cart to down stack pallets, delivers ordered items, follows customer delivery instructions, verifies or receives payment, refuels the company truck, processes returns, and completes final paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Hold and retain a CDL A License
- Accurately deliver orders to customers
- Maintain customer service excellence
- Track and receive payments from customers when necessary
- Lift bulk and heavy items
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Class A with airbrake endorsement
- Have and maintain DOT physical
- Able to drive manual transmission
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform repetitive lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, and climbing
