Job details
- Freight type: 100% no-touch dry van
- Region: Eastern Seaboard regional lane
- Average miles: approximately 2,500 miles per week
- Route predictability and consistent lanes to promote regular schedules and reliable home time
Training & schedule
- 4–6 weeks of training with a trainer for drivers with under 6 months’ experience
- Typical cycle: out ~12 days, home ~2 days (bi-weekly home time)
- Drivers must be available for day or night driving as required by route assignments
Minimum Requirements
- Age 21 or older
- Valid Class A CDL
- Graduate of an accredited truck driving school (minimum 120 hours)
- Able to pass pre-employment urine and hair drug screening
- Reasonable driving record and work history demonstrating safety and reliability
Compensation & Benefits
- $1,200–$1,400 per week (dependent on miles and stops)
- $0.55–$0.65 per mile plus $15 per stop
- Safety/fuel-efficiency bonus: $0.06 per mile for incident-free performance
- Trainee pay: $650+ per week during training (typically 4–6 weeks)
- Paid orientation: $300
