About the role
Driver-friendly regional routes and dependable scheduling help create a consistent work week for drivers who value steady freight and regular home time. The position involves hauling dry van freight with general commodities across Midwest and Eastern U.S. operating lanes. Drivers are assigned Kenworth T680 tractors (four years old or newer) equipped with driver‑focused features and typically log 2,500 to 3,000 miles per week.
Responsibilities
- Operate 53' dry van trailers hauling general commodities
- Follow assigned routes and maintain consistent mileage
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of customer freight
- Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies
Requirements
- Valid CDL‑A license
- Acceptable driving history
- Previous tractor‑trailer experience preferred
- Meet current DOT medical certification standards
- Ability to operate 53' dry van trailers
Skills
- Experience with automatic transmission
- Operation of APU and inverter systems
- Use of voice navigation
- Familiarity with in‑cab 5th wheel release
- Comfortable with Kenworth T680 equipment

Pay
CDL‑A truck drivers earn $1,400 to $1,800 per week depending on experience and productivity. Guaranteed pay begins after 30 days of employment. Orientation pay is $100 per day. Quarterly raises are tied to safety performance and production metrics.
Schedule
Drivers receive home‑weekly scheduling, with regular weekly home time planned around route assignments and freight availability while maintaining consistent mileage opportunities throughout the week.
