What You Will Be Operating
- Excavators, loaders, and skid steers
- Vertical drill rigs and specialized foundation equipment
- Trucks and trailers requiring CDL Class A
- Telescopic forklifts and material handling equipment
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment with precision and efficiency on active job sites
- Transport machinery and materials to project locations following CDL regulations
- Perform drilling and excavation for substation foundations and caissons
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and performance
- Work closely with Superintendents to coordinate equipment movement and workflow
- Support crews by positioning materials and assisting with site logistics
- Maintain a strong safety mindset in high-risk industrial environments
Requirements
- Active CDL Class A license required
- Experience operating heavy equipment in construction or industrial settings
- Strong working knowledge of excavators, loaders, and skid steers
- Ability to work safely in active job sites with heavy equipment and crews
- Reliable, dependable, and ready to travel as needed
Bonus Points
- Experience with vertical drill rigs or telescopic forklifts
- Background in substation or heavy electrical construction
- Completion of a trade program or technical certification
- Strong understanding of job site safety standards
Pay
$32 to $38 per hour based on experience plus bonus opportunities including sign-on incentives.
