What You Will Be Operating

  • Excavators, loaders, and skid steers
  • Vertical drill rigs and specialized foundation equipment
  • Trucks and trailers requiring CDL Class A
  • Telescopic forklifts and material handling equipment

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment with precision and efficiency on active job sites
  • Transport machinery and materials to project locations following CDL regulations
  • Perform drilling and excavation for substation foundations and caissons
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and performance
  • Work closely with Superintendents to coordinate equipment movement and workflow
  • Support crews by positioning materials and assisting with site logistics
  • Maintain a strong safety mindset in high-risk industrial environments

Requirements

  • Active CDL Class A license required
  • Experience operating heavy equipment in construction or industrial settings
  • Strong working knowledge of excavators, loaders, and skid steers
  • Ability to work safely in active job sites with heavy equipment and crews
  • Reliable, dependable, and ready to travel as needed

Bonus Points

  • Experience with vertical drill rigs or telescopic forklifts
  • Background in substation or heavy electrical construction
  • Completion of a trade program or technical certification
  • Strong understanding of job site safety standards

Pay

$32 to $38 per hour based on experience plus bonus opportunities including sign-on incentives.
