CDL-A OTR Driver
About the role
The Commercial Class A Truck Driver is responsible for transporting products between farms, warehouses, drop yards, and customer distribution centers.
Responsibilities
- Operate assigned trucks in accordance with DOT, FMCSA, and Company rules and regulations.
- Comply with all traffic laws.
- Pick-up and deliver products on time and without damage.
- Safely hook and unhook trailers from tractors, inspect trucks for defects, and secure all cargo by tying down or bracing cargo on or within trailer as required.
- Operate pallet jack to load and unload trailers.
- Break down pallets of product as necessary.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and e-logs.
- Maintain courteous and professional communications between company personnel, farm owners, and customers.
- Maintain all required licenses and certifications.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s license, Class A with necessary endorsement form your State of Residence.
- Must have a clean motor vehicle record and possess two years of verifiable over-the-road experience.
- Must meet all Federal and State requirements for certification including pre-employment alcohol and controlled substances screening and meet the medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation.
- Must possess the ability to read, write in English, perform mathematical calculations to accurately and legibly complete required paperwork to include freight bills, receipts, maintain e-logs, and read maps and road signs.
- Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to sit and remain alert while driving for up to 10 hours, including night driving.
- While performing duties must be able to spend time standing and walking on surfaces such as concrete, wood, metal and sometimes on slippery and wet surfaces.
- Must be able to properly load, unload and secure cargo using pallet jack.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to safely climb to heights of 4-6 feet to enter/exit truck cabs and trailers.

Work Schedule & Hours
Shifts up to 8 - 12 hours per day, based on operational needs
Start and end times may vary due to truck arrivals, order fulfillment, machine downtime, or production changes
Flexibility required to adjust schedule as needed
