Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport frac sand to designated customer locations.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Report mechanical issues, maintenance needs, or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain accurate transportation documentation, including bills of lading, freight tickets, electronic logs, hours-of-service records, and inspection reports.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and customer safety requirements.
- Secure all loads properly and ensure cargo is transported safely.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and operations personnel.
- Respond appropriately to roadside emergencies, equipment failures, or incidents by following established company procedures.
- Represent Boyce Logistics LLC with professionalism while delivering outstanding customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current DOT Medical Certificate.
- Minimum of 3 months to 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience; oilfield or frac sand experience preferred.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Ability to successfully pass:
- DOT drug screening
- Criminal background check
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
- Employment verification
Physical Requirements
- Work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
- Sit for extended periods while operating commercial equipment.
- Safely climb trailers and equipment as necessary.
- Frequently bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Operate smartphones, electronic logging devices (ELDs), and company software applications.
